Ms. GUO Ping is a qualified lawyer in P.R.China and joined Tytop Law Firm as part-time lawyer since early of 2013. She graduated from Dalian Maritime University (“DMU”) with B.Sc. degree and obtained LLM in International Economic Law in 1998 and Ph.D. Degree in International Law in 2006. As from 1990 till now, she has been lecturing on Maritime Law，Law of Carriage of Goods by Sea，Practice and Law of Tramp Shipping，International Freight Forwarder and NVOCC，Law of Prevention Pollution from Ships in Law School of DMU while practicing law since 1994. Ms. Guo was engaged as a professor of DMU in maritime law from 2003. She is Visiting Scholar of University of Southampton and Fulbright Scholar of Tulane University. Also she is an arbitrator of China Maritime Arbitration Commission and Dalian Arbitration Commission, member of Council of China Maritime Law Association, vice general secretary of Maritime Law Association of Liaoning Province, legal consultant of Dalian Municipal Government as well as a member of Dalian Administrative Review Committee. She has published more than 30 books including Research on International Fright Forwarder, Practice and Law of Tramp Shipping, Shipping Practice and Maritime Law as editor or one of co-editors as well as more than 100 academic articles. Ms. GUO is honored as Second Term Liaoning Province Yonger Outstanding Jurist in 2014. As a lawyer with profound theoretical knowledge and practical experiences, she has been involved and dealt with many maritime cases.
